Banffy Castle

Banffy Castle, located in the village of Bontida in Romania, is a historic gem often referred to as the "Versailles of Transylvania." The castle was built in the 15th century by the Banffy family, and over the centuries, it became a symbol of elegance and grandeur. 

Though it suffered damage during World War II and fell into disrepair, the castle’s beautiful architecture and enchanting surroundings continue to capture the hearts of visitors. 

Today, it stands as a symbol of resilience, hosting cultural events and festivals, bringing life back to its once-stunning halls.
